I have huge connections with Stoke. So, currently my business is here in City Business Park. My dad and my step-mum and my brother have always lived in Stoke. I went to Stoke Damerel Primary. My family is still here… I also went off to Plymouth College of Art, did a degree there. I learned to be a silversmith and ceramicist. So, now, I’m a silversmith and ceramicist. And I also run community workshops on Fridays from here.
In my free time, I sit at home ‘doom scrolling’ and watching Bones on the telly. At the moment, that’s my evenings. I like sea swimming. I could say that classic “go walking with the dog” but I don’t walk the dog. My husband does that… But a lot of what I do, a lot of my social time is actually based around my work. On a Thursday evening, I do Cackle and Craft which is like a knit-and-natter but you can bring any craft with you and I craft then as well… I don’t need much more social and community because I’ve got it, built it, yeah.
