We moved here I think in 2014. And since then, we’ve stayed where we are just in York Place. We’ve made quite a few connections with some of the locals so like Charmaine, who runs the Masonic. I go into charity shop quite a bit, so I know Sandra in there as well… I’ve got a good rapport with the area so it’s become quite, like, homey for me, ya know, I try and stay here.
I have quite a few hobbies and I spend quite a lot of time trying to decide which one I want to do! So, I like to exercise, like, keep healthy, yoga, circuit training. I also like to sew and crochet and I also like to do music. So I played the saxophone. I was taught that at primary school. And then I also taught myself the keyboard.
I say, life is full of trials and tribulations and even though you might not enjoy it at that time, and it might be like, you might think, oh why is this why is this happening?… You got to remember that this happening for a reason. And if it might not be a good reason, you will learn something from it. Even though it might not be the best at that time.Â
In the future, it will help you, so, you just have to remember that, and keep going. And if you’re not too happy at that time, because of whatever is happening, find little parts and enjoy going to the park, like, seeing the view because you can see over to Cornwall, you can see out to the breakwater and just remembering that, like you know, you’re here now, not to worry too much about the future.
