I’ve lived in this particular address since 2002. It was five bedsits at the time, so we put it back into a single house with an annexe upstairs for Austin’s mum and all that. I moved away for work but always ended up coming back here. I worked in the dockyard as a chief engineer. We can talk about The Pheasant Pluckers, and pubs in Stoke – not saying that I’m in the pub all the time, but y’know!”

Me, my partner and our adopted son – we’re all Plymouthians. Well, I’m not a Plymouthian. I’ve just married one. So I guess I am now

We’re here with Baxter [dog], we spend quite a lot of time together. So you will see us in the parks locally, Blockhouse, Devonport Park, especially spending a lot of time in Paradise Field now as well which is nice. I like what the guys are doing down there.

I moved away for work, but always ended up coming back here. I worked in the Dockyard as a chief engineer… I started playing music again, with a couple of guys who also drink in the Pheasants [pub]. So we’ve done a couple of gigs in the Pheasants last year, or year before that. Yeah, we weren’t great. We took a break and we’re picking it up again.
